Return and Refund Policy

Last updated: September 9th, 2026

Thank you for shopping at Marvelous Industries .

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

REFUND AND RETURN POLICY:

This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases of Faraday Gear and related accessories sold through Marvelous Industries LLC. This Policy is intended to comply with California law, including California Civil Code Section 1723, applicable provisions of the California Commercial Code, California consumer protection laws, and other applicable federal and state requirements governing online retail sales, refunds, returns, disclosures, and customer communications.

Store Mailing Address: 3400 Cottage Way, Ste G2 #5892, Sacramento, California 95825

Return Request Email: [email protected]

  1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POLICY

1.1 Purpose. This Policy explains when Faraday Gear purchased from the Store may be returned, the condition requirements for returned items, the procedure for initiating a return, the customer’s responsibility for return shipping costs, the applicable restocking fee, and the method and timing of refunds. This Policy is designed to provide clear pre-purchase notice to customers and to avoid ambiguity concerning refund eligibility.

1.2 Products Covered. This Policy applies to Faraday Gear sold by the Store, including signal-blocking bags, pouches, sleeves, cases, and similar products designed to shield electronic devices, cards, key fobs, phones, tablets, laptops, or other items from radio-frequency, wireless, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, GPS, RFID, NFC, or similar signals.

1.3 Customers Covered. This Policy applies to all retail customers who purchase covered products directly from the Store’s website. It does not apply to purchases made through third-party marketplaces, wholesale orders, reseller transactions, custom-manufactured goods, private-label orders, or products purchased from unauthorized sellers, except to the extent the Store expressly confirms in writing that this Policy applies.

1.4 No Modification by Oral Statement. No employee, contractor, customer service representative, influencer, affiliate, or other person may modify this Policy unless the modification is in a written statement issued by an authorized representative of the Store. Product pages, checkout pages, order confirmations, and written customer service communications may provide additional return instructions, but they do not waive this Policy unless they expressly state that a waiver is intended.

  1. CALIFORNIA REFUND POLICY DISCLOSURE

2.1 Conspicuous Display Requirement. Under California Civil Code Section 1723, if a retail seller maintains a policy that does not provide a full cash or credit refund, exchange, or store credit within seven (7) days after purchase, the policy must be conspicuously displayed. For an online store, this Policy should be made available before the customer completes checkout, linked in the website footer, referenced on product pages where practicable, and included or linked in the customer’s order confirmation.

2.2 Notice of Fourteen-Day Return Period. The Store offers a fourteen (14) day return window for eligible Faraday Gear. The fourteen (14) day period begins on the date the customer receives the product, as shown by the carrier delivery confirmation, order delivery record, or other commercially reasonable proof of delivery. A return request must be initiated within that fourteen (14) day period to qualify for return review.

2.3 Policy Must Be Reviewed Before Purchase. Customers are responsible for reviewing this Policy before completing a purchase. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that this Policy is part of the terms applicable to the transaction and that returns and refunds are subject to the conditions stated herein.

2.4 Effect of Failure to Display Policy. If this Policy is not conspicuously displayed or made available as required by California Civil Code Section 1723, California law may require a different refund outcome, including a refund right within the statutory period when proof of purchase is presented. The Store should therefore maintain this Policy in a clearly visible location on the website and during the checkout process.

  1. FOURTEEN-DAY RETURN WINDOW

3.1 Return Deadline. To request a return, the customer must contact the Store within fourteen (14) calendar days after delivery of the product. A request made after the fourteen (14) day period is not eligible for return unless the Store is required by law to accept the return or the Store voluntarily approves the return in writing.

3.2 Delivery Date Controls. For shipped orders, the delivery date shown by the applicable carrier’s tracking system will be used to determine the start of the fourteen (14) day return period. If the delivery date cannot be verified, the Store may use the date the order was marked delivered in its order management system or a reasonable estimated delivery date based on the shipping method.

3.3 Return Authorization Required. The customer must obtain return authorization before shipping any product back to the Store. Products returned without prior authorization may be refused, returned to the customer at the customer’s expense, or processed with delays. A return authorization does not guarantee a refund; it confirms only that the Store will inspect the item and determine refund eligibility under this Policy.

3.4 Timely Shipment After Approval. After the Store issues return authorization, the customer must ship the product back within 14 days after receiving the return instructions, unless the Store specifies a different deadline in writing. If the customer fails to ship the product within the required time, the Store may reject the return.

  1. CONDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR FARADAY GEAR RETURNS

4.1 Required Return Condition. To qualify for a return, the Faraday Gear must be undamaged, clean, complete, and in its original packaging with all included accessories, tags, inserts, manuals, sleeves, straps, labels, and protective materials included. The product must be in a condition suitable for resale as a returned item, subject to inspection by the Store.

4.2 Signal-Blocking Integrity. Because Faraday Gear are technical shielding products, the product must not show signs of misuse, tampering, puncture, cutting, tearing, stretching, crushing, excessive folding, contamination, heat exposure, liquid exposure, chemical exposure, alteration, or any other condition that could affect the integrity of the shielding material, seams, closure system, lining, or conductive layer.

4.3 Packaging and Accessories. A return may be denied or reduced if original packaging, certificates, labels, product inserts, accessories, or bundled items are missing or damaged. If a product was sold as a kit or bundle, all components of the kit or bundle must be returned together unless the Store expressly authorizes a partial return in writing.

4.4 Inspection Upon Receipt. All returned products are subject to inspection after delivery to the Store or its designated return facility. The Store may deny a refund if the item does not meet the condition requirements stated in this Policy. The Store’s inspection may include visual review, verification of product identifiers, confirmation of order records, packaging review, and functional review where commercially reasonable.

4.5 Non-Eligible Condition Examples. Faraday Gear will generally not qualify for return if it has been used to store devices in ordinary use, has visible wear, has been exposed to liquids or chemicals, has damaged closures, has torn seams, has missing shielding layers, has been modified, has odors, has missing components, or is returned in a condition materially different from the condition in which it was shipped.

  1. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

5.1 Email Return Request. Customers must initiate a return request by emailing the Store at [email protected]. The email must be sent within fourteen (14) calendar days after delivery of the product. The subject line should identify the request as a return request and include the order number if available.

5.2 Required Return Request Information. The return request should include the customer’s full name, order number, date of purchase, delivery date, product name, quantity being returned, reason for return, photographs of the product and packaging if requested, and confirmation that the product is unused, undamaged, complete, and in original packaging.

5.3 Return Instructions. After receiving a timely return request, the Store may issue return instructions, a return authorization number, and the return shipping address. The customer must follow the Store’s return instructions exactly. The Store may require the customer to write the return authorization number on the shipping label or package, but the customer must not write directly on original retail packaging unless instructed.

5.4 No In-Person Returns Unless Authorized. Because this Policy is intended for an online store, returns are handled by shipment unless the Store expressly authorizes another method in writing. Products sent to an address other than the return address provided by the Store may be delayed, refused, or deemed not received.

  1. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS AND RISK OF LOSS

6.1 No Free Return Shipping. The Store does not offer free return shipping for returned Faraday Gear. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless applicable law requires otherwise or unless the Store separately agrees in writing to pay return shipping for a specific return.

6.2 Customer Responsibility for Shipping Method. The customer should use a trackable shipping method and should retain proof of shipment and delivery. The Store is not responsible for returned products that are lost, delayed, misdelivered, damaged in transit, shipped without sufficient postage, shipped to the wrong address, or otherwise not received by the Store or its designated return facility.

6.3 Risk of Loss During Return Shipment. Risk of loss for a returned product remains with the customer until the product is actually received by the Store or its designated return facility. If the product arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging or carrier handling, the Store may deny the return or reduce the refund to account for the damage, to the extent permitted by law.

6.4 Original Shipping Charges. Original shipping charges, expedited shipping charges, handling fees, shipping insurance, route protection, gift wrapping, and similar service charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless the refund is due to the Store’s verified error, such as shipment of the wrong item.

  1. RESTOCKING FEE

7.1 Ten Percent Restocking Fee. A restocking fee will be charged for returned Faraday Gear. The restocking fee is ten percent (10%) of the refund issued to the customer and will be applied as a deduction in connection with the return, to the extent permitted by California law and provided the fee has been disclosed before purchase.

7.2 Purpose of Fee. The restocking fee helps cover reasonable costs associated with receiving, inspecting, testing, repackaging, inventory handling, payment processing, and administrative processing of returned products. The fee is not intended as a penalty and will be applied consistently according to this Policy.

7.3 Disclosure of Fee. The Store should disclose the restocking fee before checkout, in this Policy, and in any applicable return communications. If a restocking fee is not properly disclosed where disclosure is required by law, the Store may be required to waive the fee or comply with any remedy required by applicable law.

7.4 Exceptions to Restocking Fee. The Store may waive the restocking fee if the return results from the Store’s verified shipment of the wrong product, a duplicate shipment, or another confirmed fulfillment error. The Store may also waive the fee in its discretion, but a discretionary waiver in one case does not require waiver in any other case.

  1. REFUND METHOD AND TIMING

8.1 Refund Method. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. The Store is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card issuers, payment processors, digital wallet providers, or other third parties after the Store submits the refund.

8.2 Refund Processing Time. After the Store receives the returned product and confirms that the return satisfies this Policy, the Store will process the refund within seven (7) business days. Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, federal holidays, California state holidays, or days on which the Store’s payment processor is unavailable.

8.3 Refund Amount. The refund amount will generally equal the eligible product purchase price paid for the returned item, less the applicable ten percent (10%) restocking fee and less any non-refundable charges, including original shipping charges, expedited shipping charges, handling fees, or other service charges, unless California law requires a different result.

8.4 Partial Refunds. The Store may issue a partial refund if the returned product is missing components, has damaged packaging, shows handling beyond inspection, is returned late after written approval, or otherwise fails to satisfy all return conditions but the Store elects to accept the product in its discretion. The Store may deny the return entirely if the product is materially damaged, used, altered, incomplete, or not resaleable.

8.5 Payment Processor Timing. Once the Store submits an approved refund, the time required for the refund to appear in the customer’s account depends on the payment method and financial institution. Credit card refunds may take additional business days to post. The Store does not control the posting timeline after refund submission.

  1. EXCHANGES, DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS, AND ORDER ERRORS

9.1 Exchanges. The Store may offer exchanges only if expressly stated on the website or approved in writing by customer service. If exchanges are not available, the customer may request a return under this Policy and place a new order for the desired product.

9.2 Defective or Damaged Items. If a product arrives defective or materially damaged, the customer must notify the Store promptly by email at [email protected] and provide the order number, description of the issue, photographs of the product and packaging, and any carrier damage information. The Store may require reasonable evidence before approving a replacement, refund, or other remedy.

9.3 Wrong Item Shipped. If the Store ships the wrong item, the customer must notify the Store promptly. After verifying the error, the Store may provide a prepaid return label, ship the correct item, issue a refund, or provide another lawful remedy. If the wrong item was shipped due to the Store’s verified error, the Store will not charge the customer a restocking fee for that item.

9.4 Testing and Performance Expectations. Faraday Gear are shielding products whose performance can vary depending on device type, frequency, closure method, signal strength, wear, environmental conditions, and customer use. A customer’s belief that a product did not meet an unstated expectation does not automatically make the product defective. Any performance claim will be evaluated according to the product description, applicable warranty terms, and applicable law.

  1. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS AND RETURN LIMITATIONS

10.1 Used or Altered Products. Used, damaged, altered, modified, contaminated, incomplete, or improperly packaged Faraday Gear is not eligible for return. Products that have been cut, punctured, written on, heat-treated, washed contrary to instructions, exposed to oils or chemicals, or otherwise changed from their original condition may be rejected.

10.2 Custom and Special Orders. Custom products, special-order products, bulk commercial orders, private-label products, clearance items, final-sale items, gift cards, digital products, and promotional items may be non-returnable if identified as non-returnable before purchase, subject to applicable law.

10.3 Abuse of Return Policy. The Store may refuse returns from customers who abuse the return process, including repeated excessive returns, suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, returning different products than those purchased, sending counterfeit or altered items, or using products before attempting to return them as unused.

10.4 Proof of Purchase Required. The Store may require proof of purchase, including an order number, receipt, customer account record, or payment confirmation. Products without verifiable proof of purchase from the Store may be rejected.

  1. CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PROTECTION AND WARRANTY RIGHTS

11.1 No Limitation of Nonwaivable Rights. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any nonwaivable rights that a customer may have under California law or federal law. If any part of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory law will control to the extent of the conflict.

11.2 Implied Warranty Rights. California law may provide consumers with implied warranty rights for consumer goods, including rights relating to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose where applicable. This Policy does not disclaim any implied warranty that cannot be lawfully disclaimed. Any warranty limitations must be interpreted consistently with applicable law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act where applicable.

11.3 Product Descriptions and Reliance. The Store should present product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, compatibility information, shielding descriptions, and limitations accurately and without misleading statements. Customers should review product dimensions and technical details before purchase, because return eligibility remains subject to the condition and timing requirements of this Policy.

11.4 California Unfair Competition and Advertising Rules. The Store will not apply this Policy in a manner intended to deceive customers or evade California consumer protection requirements. Refund restrictions, return shipping obligations, restocking fees, and return deadlines should be disclosed in a clear and conspicuous manner before purchase.

  1. ONLINE SALES, SHIPPING, AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE

12.1 Order Acceptance. A customer’s submission of an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance by the Store. The Store may decline or cancel an order where permitted by law, including for suspected fraud, payment failure, inventory error, pricing error, shipping restrictions, or inability to verify order information.

12.2 Shipping Delays. Shipping estimates are estimates only unless expressly stated otherwise. The Store is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, weather events, labor disruptions, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, delivery refusal, package theft after delivery confirmation, or other events outside the Store’s reasonable control.

12.3 Incorrect Address. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If an order is returned to the Store due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to pick up the package, the Store may deduct shipping costs, handling costs, and applicable fees from any refund permitted by law.

12.4 Chargebacks. Customers are encouraged to contact the Store at [email protected]  to resolve return or refund concerns before initiating a chargeback. The Store reserves the right to provide this Policy, shipping confirmation, delivery confirmation, return correspondence, inspection results, and transaction records to the payment processor or financial institution in response to a chargeback.

  1. CUSTOMER DATA USED FOR RETURNS

13.1 Return Processing Information. To process a return, the Store may collect and use customer information such as name, email address, phone number, mailing address, order number, payment reference, shipping records, photographs, return reason, and customer communications. This information is used to verify the transaction, process the return, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.

13.2 California Privacy Rights. California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, depending on the Store’s legal status, size, data practices, and statutory applicability. The Store should maintain a separate Privacy Policy describing applicable data collection, use, disclosure, retention, and consumer rights practices.

13.3 Fraud Prevention. The Store may retain return records, inspection notes, photographs, communications, shipping records, and transaction data as reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, document compliance with this Policy, respond to payment disputes, comply with tax or accounting obligations, and enforce legal rights.

  1. LIMITATIONS, DISCLAIMERS, AND PRODUCT USE

14.1 No Guarantee of Absolute Signal Blocking in All Circumstances. Faraday Gear is designed to reduce or block certain wireless signals when properly used and fully closed according to product instructions. The Store does not guarantee absolute signal blocking in every environment, for every device, against every frequency, or under every condition, unless a specific written warranty expressly states otherwise.

14.2 Customer Responsibility for Proper Use. The customer is responsible for reading and following product instructions, ensuring that the product is the correct size and type for the intended device, fully closing the product as directed, and periodically inspecting the product for wear or damage. Improper use may reduce performance and may affect return or warranty eligibility.

14.3 No Security or Legal Advice. Products sold by the Store are not a substitute for professional cybersecurity, legal, compliance, law enforcement, operational security, or technical advice. Customers are responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for their intended use and for complying with all applicable laws.

14.4 Limitation Consistent With Law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Store is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from product use, inability to use a product, signal transmission, device tracking, data access, theft, loss, or misuse. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS BEYOND CONTROL

15.1 Force Majeure. The Store will not be liable for delay or failure in processing returns, inspections, replacements, communications, or refunds to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, pandemics, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, carrier failures, supply chain disruptions, cyber incidents, utility failures, government orders, war, terrorism, civil unrest, payment processor outages, or other events that make performance impracticable.

15.2 Effect on Deadlines. If a force majeure event materially affects return processing, the Store may extend processing deadlines for a reasonable period. The Store will make commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal processing as soon as practicable.

  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW

16.1 Governing Law. This Policy and all returns and refunds covered by it are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another state’s law.

16.2 Informal Resolution. Before pursuing a formal dispute, the customer should contact the Store at: [email protected] and provide the customer’s name, order number, product at issue, requested resolution, and a clear explanation of the dispute. The Store should review the matter in good faith and attempt to resolve it promptly.

16.3 Venue. To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, small claims court, or another mandatory forum, any court proceeding relating to this Policy shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in California, unless applicable consumer protection law requires a different venue.

16.4 Small Claims and Consumer Rights. Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from pursuing claims in small claims court where permitted by law or from exercising nonwaivable consumer rights under California or federal law.

  1. POLICY CHANGES

17.1 Right to Update. The Store may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase unless a later version provides greater rights to the customer or unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17.2 Posting of Updates. Updated versions should be posted on the Store’s website with a revised effective date. Material changes should be made conspicuous before checkout where they affect refund rights, return deadlines, restocking fees, shipping obligations, or non-returnable product categories.

  1. SEVERABILITY AND INTERPRETATION

18.1 Severability. If any provision of this Policy is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.

18.2 California Law Controls. If this Policy gives the Store a right or remedy that is limited by California law, the right or remedy applies only to the extent permitted by California law. If California law provides the customer with a mandatory right that is broader than this Policy, the mandatory right controls.

18.3 Plain Meaning. Words such as “including” mean “including without limitation.” The singular includes the plural, and the plural includes the singular, as context requires. Headings are for convenience and do not limit the meaning of the Policy.

  1. CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACT

19.1 Return and Refund Questions. Customers may contact the Store regarding return and refund questions using the return request email listed in this Policy. If no response is received within a reasonable time, the customer may send a follow-up email identifying the order number and date of the original request.

19.2 Required Contact Information. The Store should maintain accurate customer service contact information on its website, including a working email address for return requests, a mailing address for business correspondence, and any legally required seller identification information.

  1. STORE APPROVAL

20.1 Adoption of Policy. This Policy may be adopted and published by the Store as its official California refund and return policy for Faraday Gear. The Store should ensure that this Policy is displayed conspicuously before purchase and consistently applied to customer transactions.

21. Gifts

21.1 If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
